I am keeping my V2 unless it buys the farm early. I see no reason to send a perfectly working esc back. From what Patrick said I think the V1 and V2 models will be replaced anytime and don't necessarily need to be under warranty still.

Thanks for the advice guys! I talked to Castle today. They are sending me a new V3 case and are going to throw in some fans just in case. I wish all companies I deal with had such phenomenal customer service.
