I always find it funny on the Traxxas stuff how it's just a (insert name here) with this or that changed while most other car companies vehicles are the same way.

Anyway, I would think for bashing the Slayer as you will have higher ground clearance. Besides since you aren't really after racing that 230 could be used many other places.

If people are really concerned with scale looks and appearance my suggestion is to build a scale rc because none of major sellers out there look anything near scale. The SC8 would need so many changes to have the true look of a scale baja truck it's really no different than the Slayer in my opinion in the appearance department.

how much more scale can you get. a V-8? seats? spare tire?

Check out what the scaler rock crawler guys build and you will see my point. The SC8 is no more scale than the Slayer when you add it all up.

Also note what Metalman said exactly. Both models are loose representations and nothing more.
