MMM 2200kv Combo ships.... - 11.12.2008, 10:21 PM

Got an Email from castle. They are waiting on the motors. Should be in stock a week or 2. So i believe they will ship then :-)

PS. 21/51 pinon/spur on 4s and 1/8 diffs will do fine on an E-maxx? what about 5s?

This is great news. I can finally retire my Feigao and throw away my temperature reader. I think you can only get the motors in the MMM combos though. Hopefully there will be some nice Christmas specials on those.

21/51 would be nice speed (43 mph), but i think 51 Spur is too little and the motor could hit the transmission (maybe in the High GC holes), and where did you find a 51T Revo Spur?

Differential Ratio: 2.8461538461538463
Transmission Ratio: 1.8333333333333333
Other Ratio: 1
Spur Tooth Count: 51
Pinion Tooth Count: 21
Total Voltage: 14.8
Motor KV: 2200
Tire Diameter (inches): 5.8
Tire Ballooning (inches): 0.1
Motor Current Draw: 0
Motor coil Ω: 0.006
Spur/Pinion Ratio: 2.43 : 1
Total Ratio: 12.67216 : 1
Tire Circumference (inches): 18.85 inches (478.78 mm)
Total Motor Speed: 32560 RPM
Vehicle Speed: 45.86 mph (73.67 km/h)
Estimated Adjusted Speed: 43 mph (69 km/h) - 6% loss
Effective KV Value: 2200
KT constant: 0.61 oz-in/A

You'll be okay. I'm running 51/20 on my gmaxx using a strobe slipper setup with UE 8 spider gears.

Castle Neu 1520 on 6S LiPo Powered Gmaxx (Nitro Killer)
Predator with OS .21TM
Supermaxx with Mach .26
Revo with OS .18TZ
Kyosho ST-RR Conversion
Ofna CR with Tekin ESC/Motor (2)

ok, so no problem then, I was thinking about an E-Revo and the E-Revo transmission that have problems with low Spur gears.

Maybe you may add a little tire balloning to the calculator, if you tape the tires there's a little balloning too.

I want about the same speed for my E-Revo when Combo arrives, for me 20/54 about 40 mph, 4s, for the track.
