What to wrap a motor magnet with?

Ok, good info, but what do I coat the string with to keep it on there?
Lutach, I have a few c50 motors and none are wrapped with kevlar... Are they just doing this with the new motors?
Alot of Savage parts for sale!!!

That, Spectra and Zylon are all good stuff. You can find Spectra at you fishing store
as some fishing lines are made of Spectra fibers.

You can use

and their Shrink Tube to make a nice Carbon/Kevlar wrapping. They come in different diameters and the link above even tell you the temps the epoxies can handle.

That's odd, all my C50's have their rotors wrapped. It's a very thin layer and grayish in color. Here is a picture of one of my C50 (The ION-X):

That is weird, All of my l can c50s do not have the wrap. I will open up the 10xl, but the 11xl did not have the wrap either...
