That, Spectra and Zylon are all good stuff. You can find Spectra at you fishing store as some fishing lines are made of Spectra fibers.

You can use http://www.solarcomposites.com/compo...20sleeves.html and their Shrink Tube to make a nice Carbon/Kevlar wrapping. They come in different diameters and the link above even tell you the temps the epoxies can handle.
