I have a question for you:

do you think I would be better off with 2 7s feigao instead of 2 8s? I really dont plan to go to 3s lipo! I have all 2s lipo so i'm trying to find the best feigao motor that would run good on 2s without any heating issues! I could even gear it in first so geraing isn't an issue! and my e-maxx is going to be under 9 pounds with lipos and everything on board...

I dont want to attain warp speed but I like to pass 40mph
As linc said, if you can go with the bidproduct motors. They will provide insane power and probably not kill the sw escs. Do you have the sw escs yet? I was looking over some threads last night and watched a video of a e-revo with a ezrun 60a esc, 9xl and 4s. You might want to look into a pair of those escs instead of the sw's because they seem to handle larger loads better. Just a thought.
