Although, 12v @ 10A is only 120w. That will limit your charge current to ~4A at 6s. Easy way to spec the right size PS is to multiply the lipo's highest voltage (4.2v/cell) by the current and add in ~20% for charger efficiency. So, for a 6s 5Ah pack, you'd need (25.2v * 5A) / 80% = 157w. At 12v, that's a little over 13A.

that was the more detailed answer i was talking about. i knew that was the case, but could not articulate that precise of an answer.
