To be fair, there are a number of benefits of nitro, listed below:

1: You don't mind going mudding, because even if you don't, the combination of dirt and nitro oil will make mud anyway.

2: Realism I guess. Although, I've never known a 1:1 car to sound like a giant mosquito, nor do they smell so bad I want to vomit.

3: Fumes contributes to global warming. With the temps here right now (and the last few days), it would be welcome.

4: Fumes gets you high without resorting to illegal drugs.

5: Gives you exercise. Not only do you have to walk over to flip the vehicle back over, you have to walk to your pit area to restart it.

6: The noise gives the neighbors something to complain about.

7: Most animals won't chase a nitro. Not only are they loud, but the fumes keeps them away. I guess that makes animals are smarter than nitro users.

8: Making you think you are cool because you can work on an "engine".

That's about all I can think of right now, but I'm sure you guys can come up with others...
