Got a bit of a story from today's run.

Went down to a local BMX track with a mate, his BL Revo, my CRT & buggy.

We were burning around doing some jumps over my jump. A guy rocks up with his little 1/10 nitro buggy. Didn't even think to ask us what frequency we were on (both Spektrum anyway) & then just drove around the footy oval on his own while his mates watch out silent rockets tearing up the grass.

They all ended up walking past after we'd packed up try to get a glimpse of what was so fast & silent. Hehehe.

Love it.

Rivermaxx, OS engines aren't that good. They have a short lifespan for their ease of tunability. You should've mentioned engines like RB, Novarossi, GRP, JP & the engines in the upper classes.

I've owned run & raced with all of those & the one I stuck with was RB. However, I now have $1200aud worth in two engines sitting in a box because I wanted to go even faster! :-)

Hey RIver don't be too defensive about this. There are a lot of teens in here that have bailed on TRX and they just like taking cheap shots at anyone who speaks out about nitro. The majority of us in here have enough matority to know that it all has its good and bad points nitro or BL it really does not matter in the garnd sceme of things. We mostly run the BL stuff here and really just don't care that much about the nitro stuff. Still there are a select few who run both and seem to find a happy medium as I am sure that you will to. Life is too short to waste time engaging in sensless mumbo jumbo. The real test is on the race track and bashing wherever we can. Enjoy your conversion experience and just have some fun. We are always glad to see someone new at RCM doing what you are doing. Good luck.

SUPERMAXX YOUR LIFE.
