The reason the diff mounts are different height is that the buggy uses a much smaller spur gear than the truck. You can also uses shims/spacers to raise the height of the buggy stock diff mount to work with the RCM mount but the stock LS10 mounts are cheap, the exact height, and don't require any additional work.
He's right, I got his old ls10. If you need the manuals to compare parts. You will need to use the Hot Bodies site in Europe to download the buggy manual. It is not on the one they have in the USA.
