The setting that gave the tone read .011 for all the other wires and read .014 for this wire when I fixed it. He had another setting that he turned it to and all the good wires read 0 and this will still had some readin, but I did not pay attention to what. It was some sort of 70 series meter. He was an electrician/telephone man. The meter was used by him when he was a telephone repair man/ equipment installer. I'm sorry I did not pay closer attention. I was just happry I was not out a lot of money.
