So the real question for me is what will this get me for the extra money over the MMM?

The amp spec means nothing to me because my MGM was rated higher than the MMM tehcnically but couldn't handle power like the MMM. The size difference is negligible in most 8th scale applications. My MMM is already as smooth as I need and I still have a V2 running updated firmware which has been going strong on 6s since last summer.

I'll give it that astetically it looks nicer and yes it is made by Tekin. However the service from CC is pretty hard to beat as it is.

Keep in mind I am not bashing Tekin, I know they make great products. I however am trying to justify a much higher price vs the MMM.

I must admit that I was frustrated because of the length of time that it took CC to get the MMM to market...but now that the V3 is finally here and proven itself, I have replaced all of my MGMs with MMMs. I run my MMMs hard and gear more aggressively than many would recommend and my ESCs hold up great. It would take a lot to get me to switch to Tekins.

Is there any more news on this? I thought it was going to be out Feb of '09 . . . well, it's Feb of '09. Anybody know when and where it's going to be available?

Last date I heard was Feb 26th or something like that. They say they are still on target. so... A couple more weeks and we should see something.

i am concerned though. No real info on motor winds or anything yet.
