The chassis does flex, but because part of the mount is actually under the tranny, the flex doesn't affect the mesh.

lol, I would make another for ya, but they are a PITA for me to make. Hacksaw, files, and dremel tool are a poor substitute for proper machining equipment! However, you could probably pick up a different mount, like the one for the Revo and modify that to suit.
