I bet one motor is running in the wrong direction like arct1k said. Take one motor switch any two of the three wires and see if that works.

Hi, one motor is reversed already, like i said, we tried just linking each esc up individualy and both work and power the car, but when there both linked together, only 1 system is running the car. Both LEDs are on on the ESCs, but only one flashes at a time. And yes, he used a Y lead from both ESCs to a single channel on the Rx. He followed a guide from the traxxas community, and according to that, its linked up correctly.
