The 1800 is in beta testing right now. Since they are using a 1Y in all their motors, they are lengthening the motors to lower the kv. At some point, the motors will be quite large and heavy, which is fine for larger MT's, etc, but too large for a buggy, and maybe even a truggy unless you want ridiculous speed and power.

I have been holding out for the 1800kv offering from Castle. Mostly due to the nice sealed design, wiring, quality etc. But I didn't realize it was going to be even larger than the 2200kv motor. The only thing I've got left to buy for my 6s Mugen MBX5T is the ESC and motor. Do you think a MedUsa 70mm is a better fit size wise? It's just going to be a basher.
