That motor is made to be run on higher volts. It should be drawing quite a bit... What battery do you have?

Not true, Lower kv motors draw less curren then equivalent motors of higher Kv.

That is true, but that motor is made to draw a lot of amps on a high powered setup. without the right batteries, the over-sized motor is wasted.

I would just experiment. or a speed calculator. My Rustler was geared higher, and it was 3500kv... which makes me wonder.

I have see in there all medusa motor prefer higher gearing it is true ? maybe 32p 58/12 on 3s was too low and the motor dont deliver its full power ? on 48p 86/23 looks like it reborn and get alot of power on start and top end and motor feel like 100% power ...

which punch control setting you use guys on a slash @ 3s or 4s ? I want the safe route for the drivetrain and still able doing some wheelies ...
