I've still never seen a machine that can wind a brushless motor less than about a 2.5" ID. And you need a fairly large gap between the stator teeth for the needles -- there is no gap in the 1515 once they are enameled.

I never said it was for the motors we use in our cars. I'll post a link maybe 2 when I find the companies that makes such machines.
