Well, since we can't stop you from running through the mud, that's probably going to be the best choice. The MMM has a conformal coating which should allow it to be slightly water proof in case any drips get through.

I'm sure you are aware that those will seriously impede the airflow to the MMM - one of Freezebites first posts was a link to a guy that was all upset 'cause he burnt up his MMM in the Flux. Well, come to find out he was running one of those socks on it. Just know your risk.....
