7lbs is hard to say- thats what a light weight 8th scale buggy weighs...


8 or 9 is probably more realistic. and a 50mm motor even on something as small as a crt.5 (5-6lbs) is pushing past 130 degrees on 3s.

Seems like your going to need more motor.

There has been a huge amount of people running that motor on E-savage forum also including me that had no problem with the motor and the temps..
