Do you really like messing around with fractions of an inch? 3/16" is meaningless to most people around the world, the US is the only country that still widely uses the imperial (or standard to you) system. Perhaps it is time to move on to a system where, to get to the next unit up (or down), you divide (or multiply) by 10. Not 16, 13, 14 or some other number that no-one has bothered to learn the times table for.

Then again, we still cling to miles and mph in the UK despite being a metric nation.
