Definately, especially if it was a Hi Amp like yours... Have you ever measured the amp draw from your setup... Ryu James, I had tried your 2250 in a 5th scale on 6S and the motor was not hot at all.. only the batteries and ESC were... Only reason I knew this was my first 2280 Hi-Amp I had it in an E-maxx, and I couldn't figure out why it was getting hot so fast.. but after some reading and testing, I know that the Hi-Amp motors are just amazing. If you had gotten the regular 2250, you're setup probably would've been cool.. Had a 1950-7-HA in a Cen Matrix Truggy, and it was great.. no heat issues at all...

Back in the day I had a 1930-5/ 9 wind... Had it soldered for 9 Wind and ran 18 cells on it... it had no heat issues powering a 15Lb Maxx back then...

yeah, it must have been just the setup. i didnt even realize it was the hi amp version either. i didnt know there was a hi amp and a regular at the time i bought it. i did like the build of the motor though. how where the wires extrude it is sealed off tight, unlike the neus. however, i wish they used a universal mounting pattern that was like the neus. anyway, i will have to try another lehner when i come across a good deal. i am always checking ebay.

Check eBay.de, sometimes they've got deals over there. http://modellbau.shop.ebay.de/RC-Mod...=p3286.c0.m282
Just mail them if they want to ship to the US or whereever you live...

I just picked up a 2280-13 non Hi-Amp version... and power was nothing comparable to the 2280-6 HiAmp... Also just arrived are 2 neus, 1515 1.5Y 1500KV & a 1509 2.5D 2700KV.. this time the shafts looked good, and one had the flat spot on it already.. but both were missing the bushing for the wires again, but I just put my own nylon tubing on there.. edges are sharp... I have yet to try these two...

I check out the Ebay germany all the time... I'm still watching that 2250 motor...

as previously posted i run neu in all my setups but have recently tried both lehner and hacker motors. i didnt really like the lehner (but may have been due to setup) and i loved the hacker motor....until 2 nights ago. during race night i was 4 minutes into my first race and i felt something really binding on my car so i pulled off the track and inspected things. it appeared to be in the center diff. but when i removed the motor it was apparent that the motor had failed. it would not rotate smoothly and had a grinding and notchy feel. i was compeltely pissed. needless to say i will only be buying Neu motors from now on. not sure what happened with the hacker. it ran cool, the load and gearing seemed good. i really loved it until it failed. i have put my Neus through much more abuse than this hacker saw and have never had a Neu have a single issue. anyway, just thought i would share.
