I know we have a few guys on this site that are running large single motors on center - it would be good to get their input here.

I've been running the Novak HV in the on center position up top and the result has been partially stripped spur gears. I've got a 9L on the way and I plan on lowering it down with the controller on the opposite side. At first I assumed that by putting the motor on center I would get better balance, but I don't think you gain enough to make it worth the headache of stripping spur gears on hard landings.
