I have had my cars vandalized and broken into as well. It sucks.

I had an idea a while back to mount a 6' lead pipe (or something heavy gauge like steel or whatever) to a gian clock spring and mount this to the underside of my truck. Wind it up, and have a electric latch that could be triggered by the alarm system. So when someone fools with the truck with the alarm armed the pipe unlaches and swings out into their legs...with authority! Then it makes the full rotation and latched back under the truck ready for any more tampering... With enough force I figured it could break a leg, or at least leave a massive bruise, HHEHEHE.
