very clean conversion....congrats! you're going to love it. i just had mine out with some neighbors (also had my old emaxx out too) on sunday, and this thing just tears it up. i bashed around bouncing off poles, drove (accidentally) through a big, deep water puddle, did lots of cartwheels, and had a blast - after we drained a pair of 5050 5s packs in about an hour, it came in with a few scratches on the body and wing, and dirt. otherwise it was exactly the same as when i took it out. that thing is bulletproof. plus it was fun running circles around the emaxx. i'm absolutely thrilled with my xt8.

report back and let us know how it goes after your maiden voyage....and video wouldn't hurt!

Thanks I am excited just looking at it. I only need tires glued and body painted and its off. I really wanted to ie the wheels black also....we will see.

Nice build, I have exactly the same.
Btw why did you mount your front brace like that? It you should use the 2 screws at the left of it, unless there's a reason?
