Still that's an odd regulation.

I vote shorter.. "Atomic Mamba!" Yes, with the exclamation!

The photo on the box would be a no-brainer

You won't even be able to buy one without background checks.
50V lethal?? Maybe if you stabbed yourself in the heart with the wires...

CE is just over cautious... at those voltages, the current (and heat the current can generate) is much more dangerous than the voltage.

So when will we see a HV controller(s) for us car guys Patrick. I know an airplane controller can be made to work with a car software and most wanted something like the HV110. I still have my burnt HV110 here and I know it's out of warranty, but I can send it back to you if you want to use the processing board.

Never mind, I just looked at my HV110 and the processing board and the PCB under it is pretty much fried.

Well, the car software won't work on the HV-110 anyway. It doesn't have the hardware for car software.

However, the ICE-HV-160 will have car software available soon (if we can ever get the Air version of the software done!!!)

You will be able to trade-in your HV-110 towards an ICE-HV controller...

Sounds good Patrick. What's the word on the ICE 200? Is it a 6S or higher voltage rated ESC? If you can do an ICE-HV-160 with the car software before, I'll send my HV110 your way ASAP .

ICE-200 is rated for 8S, and has a switching BEC integrated. The ICE-HV-160 is rated for 12S, and is opto-coupled.

Thanx!

Opto is good. So when can I send my HV110 back? How do I go about doing it, since its out of warranty and I have no clue where the receipt is (I don't even remember where I got it from to be honest). Should I just put a note of some sort?

Now you have me thinking, my current set up in one of my truggy is for 8S, but the other truggy I can use 10S.

12 s setup is awesome.
I wish you had this out when I had my 12s setup.
It would have saved me a motor.

Ponders a another 12s setup

Peace!
