I bet it's Hyperion's earlier generation LVX or LVZ Litestorm series, they use Enerland cells which is known for it's IR buildup even not in use. my 2 LVZ4500-6S and 1 LVX4200-6S did the same as yours. New China made Hyperion G3s are much much better.

I have 2 Turnigy 5000-6S-20C packs, they perform similar to my G3 VX4200-6S in summer, but as winter comes they seem have more punch than the triple priced G3.

PS: Heat your old packs up before running, that will make it usable, somehow to prolong their lives before going to trash can.
