Kinda like a HPI muggy... Not a bad idea. I am not super fond of the tvp design myself, but the post X savvys are much easier to work on. You may find that you do not get enough reduction with just a center spur and pinion. That is one issue with the muggy and losi went with lower ratio diffs to help offset the lack of a tranny.

Take out the TVPs and the gearbox, you have a truggy. :)

Not so. Show me a truggy that has the kind of ground clearence potential this will have as far as the natural droop of the arms.

I like the idea, yeah like James said kinda like a HPI muggy.

I have just as much ground clearance with my RC8T as I do with my Savage (measured underneath the diffs), the RC8T (same with apply to any truggy) also has slightly wider stance with longer a-arms. Droop, well it is slightly more limited due to the droop adjustment mechanism; cut that off and well you have more droop available with the longer a-arms. The ground clearance you get for the raised TVPs between the front and rear of course completely goes away with a flat bottom chassis.

Hey Ho :) Following this one...

My biggest issue in getting the bulks onto a flat plate was eliminating forward / back flex...and trying to tie in the front and rear bulks together...

Mine takes the old hellfire center diff which is still going well...will watch this thread and chime in when i think i can sound like i know what im talking about :)

ADDED: What are you going to do about the front kick-up? I actually sat the bulkheads on with their alloy skidplates still on and just bent up the front to match...unfortunately the front is lightly crooked :)
