Yea, I have nothing against playstation, really, I just don't like the feel of their controllers.

The heat sinks are tightened down all they way. also the screws are in their pretty tight so they can't back out, but I put some tape over the head any way.

For the love of God, please re-read my first post in it's entirety
I read the thread completely through and I wasn't directing my comment towards anyone specifically. I have both systems and I enjoy both very much and have had times where I'd favor one over the other. But when it come to reliability I think ps3

also bigboi- there are some games that dont come out for playstation. Another thing that is far superior on 360 is the online play. Granted you have to spend 50 bucks a year for this it is definetly worth it.
The only reason why I bought an xbox was because of its exclusive games. I also agree that the graphics are pretty equal among the two systems and I know you have to pay for xbox's online content, but it's rumors that you'll soon have to pay for the ps3's also.

i wouldn't mind paying for ps3s online but they need to make it better before that can happen.

Screws backing out isn't really an issue with these, they don't see vibrations and shock like our RCs do. It's good that it works with the screws cranked way down, when I did that to mine it caused the 3 red rings (it was only 2 when it died). Backing off a little let it go back to the 2 red rings. I used the Wal Mart lifetime warranty on mine though, got a brand new one to replace my aging unit Good to hear that the fix is working for you though, I have no idea how long that fix lasts though.

All I ever wanted was an honest weeks pay for an honest days work.

*Cough* Should get a decent gaming computer *Cough*

Also PS3s do fail. Mine did - I got the 'Yellow Light of Death'. Managed to get a brand new slim line one with the new Dualshock 3 out of HMV even though it was 1 year and 7 months in. Love the UK Sale of Goods Act, and consumer rights in general. Was able to argue that 19 months wasn't a reasonable length of time for £350 of electronics to last.

In the beginning the Universe was created.
This has made a lot of people very angry and has been widely regarded as a bad move.

Funny you mention that, I was all into the whole gaming computer for a while...even made a mild rig (the comp I'm using right now). It's only 5 years old, but I'd consider it pretty basic/and ancient by to days standards.

My specs are
AMD sempron 3000+ /1.8ghz
1.00gb of ram
Asus compact mother board (only 3 pci slots ) don't remember what it is.....
Asus N6200 128mb agp video card
80gb master hdd 60 gb slave
Sound blaster live sound card
and it also has the memory card expansion slots and a cd-r dvd drive......kinda wish it had a dvdr to......

Over all pretty decent back then, but can't handle much now a days.....that and all my friends have 360's, and I wanted to borrow games instead of Constantly buying new so I made the switch.

That sucks, no more MW2 for a while I guess. If yours isn't under warranty and you don't want to try the WalMart lifetime warranty I'll buy it off you, I've got some 00 buckshot just waiting for a dead XBox to come around
