If MGM has all the issues fixed, then the controller is good. I sold all but one due to a strange situation with a 2.4G radio. You could try a Kontronik Jive 80HV or 120 HV. Get both program cards for full features and the 120 HV's price is up there. It only has one car mode I believe, so it'll be good for racing.
