ok i isolated the problem with the low voltage cell(s). my new charger's balancer is dying and threw the balance off in the pack. i hooked the batteries up to my old 50w charger and did an overnight slow balance charge.

i ran the packs in my savage flux again today and they temped at 108F. the ambient temp was 70F. the good news is all the cells finished at 3.48-3.52. so, the balance issue was my charger but these packs still get HOT. my $22 2s packs from hobbycity don't even break 85F. heck, my old, somewhat tired 25c 5000mah 3s flightmax packs don't get over 100F. why are my nice neu packs getting so hot?

They say a good mechanic only needs 2 tools - WD40 & Duct tape. If it moves, and its not supposed to, duct tape. If it doesn't move, and its supposed to, WD40.
