My throttle endpoint is set to 125% or whatever the max is on a DX3R. It's all about throttle control

I keep mine at 100% as well. And I agree about throttle control. Also, keep in mind that radios have so many throttle steps from 0 to 100% and if you run at 50% EPA all the time, you lose a lot of throttle resolution.

Doesn't that kind of depend on when you set the EPA and when you calibrate the ESC? Say you set the EPA to 50% then calibrate, you would still be able to reach full throttle, but your resolution of steps would be cut in half like you describe. But, if you had your EPA at 100% then calibrated then afterward turned it down to 50% your resolution would remain the same, but you'd only be able to reach half throttle.

The latter sounds like what superek4 was describing, since he experienced such an increase in performance after switching back to 100%.

Does this sound right? Or am I looking at it wrong?

Yes, I wasn't talking about "range", I was talking about resolution, or steps between each throttle point.
