Jerry, I do need to point out that loctite is intended for situations in which the screw goes into a metal part. My guess in this case (as most center diffs use plastic housings) is that the screw goes into plastic. If this is the case, loctite can actually melt or warp the plastic. Some CA might not be a bad idea though. We use that a lot on plastic connections to help keep screws from backing out.
Sorry about that. I did not see one mention of it being plastic or that it was a stock plastic setup. All I read was that a screw backed out and gouged his tranny.

Yeh its an 1/8th scale center diff...so I may add a little thread locker to it....the tranny is functional at the moment but as anal as I am just knowing there could be a problem bothers me !
