For people that run at different tracks or people who race and bash could benefit greatly (from a monetary POV) by being able to just own several different stators instead of several different motors.....is their a weakness to having these motors be rebuildable like this?

Our controllers are also specifically designed to encourage customers to make simple repairs themselves----plugs, switch harnesses, TransCap modules, power wires. All service items are always available in our store. We have introduced new Short Course Systems with Traxxas-compatible battery and motor wires (2WD) to offer Plug 'N Race ease to Slash customers---both 2WD and 4x4s.

Most companies do pretty poorly in after market customer support because it's not a high priority to them. Also, designing and maintaining these complex options is a LOT of work.....
