But you have to be careful because it does cause interference with $1000 SC10's

IIRC the gt2 only effects $1000 sc10's, I don't know anyone that has an sc10

Silly thing is I have purchased one of those to sell with a nitro car. He gets better range than me I don't want one for myself 'cause the 3rd channel comes in handy on ocassion.

I had a look at the tx and rx antena wires but they both looked good. I reheated the rx wire anyway but it doesn't seem to have changed.

The 3pm seems to be a clear winner. I heard about the baja races in the Lancelin dunes near here. I was told the 3pm is the only one that didn't have any issues. I don't know the whole range of radios being used but there was about 50 cars.

So does anyone know where they are cheap? Mike doesn't seem to have much in the way of radios.

No, replace the wire altogether. In my case, there was a break partway down the wire. It didn't look bad nor was there any noticeable difference along the length of the wire (the broken area will usually have more give).
