Im curious (as you've already seen and commented on) if they could power a Savage X/XL conversion without loads of heavy after market parts and 40 serie wheels. The 4-polers (4363) almost have the same dimensions as the old Hobbywing 4465 motor... and that guy have no problem powering a Savage conversion.
i don't think the motor would have enough size. the hobbywing motor has a smooth can and the infinity motor only has a 40mm can with 3mm fins, which means a smaller rotor. it might work if you gear for less than 40mph, but i would just get a cc2200kv motor. mine runs very cool in my extended savage flux.

They say a good mechanic only needs 2 tools - WD40 & Duct tape. If it moves, and its not supposed to, duct tape. If it doesn't move, and its supposed to, WD40.
