that's a good point especially as I moved from 3300mah to 4200mah batteries as on some tracks 10minute mains would push them to the limit

You weren't planning on running the 1415 in a truggy were you? Those motors are really only intended for 1/10th applications; particularly heavier applications where a standard 36mm won't do the job, IE 4x4 CORR trucks. Use caution using a 1415 in a truggy.

i thought the 14 series motors had the same size rotors as the 15 series?
