My truck is now more like a 1/8th than a 1/10th. It is big, super powerful and handles amazingly! Most of you know from reading what I had erlier in this thread. to that list I added: UE servo saver, Gorilla Maxx extended chassis, longer UE rear center shaft, UE 8 spyder diffs, Proline 1/8th crowd pleaser body, Proline widemaxx 40 series wheels, Team Losi super king pin tires(similar to bow ties but taller). The dimensions of the truck are now 20" long(not counting wheelie bar), 17" wide, 9" high(with the suspension slamed low for handling, tires are 6 1/2" high. Because of the taller tire I now run in 1st gear most of the time and only shift to second for a high speed run on an open area since it tops out around 60mph(probably a bit above). The uncontrolable wheelies are gone but I need a longer wheelie bar as I can still flip it if I'm not easy on the trigger on the street. The chassis and wheels and tires allow me to now take good turns at around 30 mph where I used to just flip. The UE diffs still seem like brand new after more runs than my Ofna diffs put up with. After running about 7 mins at work today, showing off, I temped everything with my ir gun. Motor = 115 F, esc = 98 F, batts = 95 F. The new body allows good airflow over everything and I know that's helping keep everything nice and cool. When I took it to the LHS up the road to get an antenna mount it had a crowd around it in 2 mins. LOL well here are some pics. Let me know what you think.
