Would amp draw really increase with the increased voltage?

Back when I was doing alot of eagletree, radar gun and other testing, I usually found only a modest increase in amp draw with increased voltage. 5% or less. Its mostly the increased voltage that builds the power. This was in my old hv revo setup going from 9S A123s on upto 12S A123. No gearing changes were done.


YMMV based on how you are driving, the truck and the terrain. It maybe you get less as you don't throttle as hard as there is already so much more power there, or the chassis can't handle it w/o flipping.

Overall the point was the 1717 would be a hellfire beast on 8S.
