There are no grub screws on the suspension of that buggy conversion he had. Its a traxxas conversion. So zipties or the fuel tubing is the way to limit suspension.

No downtravel limiting screws on a hyper 8 or Losi 8ight buggy? I find that hard to believe, maybe they got lost, but the arms and chassis should have the provisions for them. Traxxas conversion? I'm confused, what am I missing here?

wow, i feel pretty stupid right now...

so i got everything out tonight, charging up my batteries to see how bad they are from sitting for 6 months..

my spur gear on the Hyper 8 Brushless is gone and i cant, for the life of me figure out what brand to get or what size or anything. 16/46 is whats on it now and i think it was doing alright on temps, maybe a little hot last time i had it on the street. at the track i remember i had pretty good control over the temps.

anyways, what brand spur do i order? does Robinson sound right? what do i look for as far as sizes or do i just make sure its for a buggy? 1/8th scale? i seriously feel stupid for not remembering. then again i was never the brightest with this stuff. i had a good buddy who always helped me out with things like this...


edit.... higher on the pinion gear and lower on the spur to do faster or slower(quicker) or what? help me with that too.. thanks guys
