Yeah, that's what I saw. One co is chinese, one is taiwanese, ofna is a us distributor for both, then Jammin is a "performance" division built on Jammin Jay's rep. Seems to be how they get a lot of duplicate and self competing veh, like the crt.5 and teh mini St, but you go to nitrohouse to buy parts for both.

I think thats right, but is a bit of a mess. Not simple like traxxas, hpi or losi.

Whats really confusing is that the back of my hyper st manual there is a part# conversion table from hobao to ofna. The manual is written w/ the hobao #'s in the diagrams, then you have to go to the back to cross ref to the ofna # to find it. Sometimes you have to have both if you are looking for a specific part on ebay as the HK based sites may have listed as the hobao #, while US sites have it as the Ofna #.

OK, I wasn't sure how jammin fits in to it. So are they the ones regulating the standardizing of parts? I don't know how many co's are under the Ofna umbrella but it makes sense for them to make a few parts that are interchangable.
