Went out with it today, only a very quick run though as it was dark, didn't want anything to fall out and not be found!

Couple of pics with it all in, note that the wires are so long as I intend to put it in a bigger scale in the near future so don't want to trim them down. I tucked them in better before running.

First impressions?...

Wait for the video as I really can't describe how immense it is!!!

Finally did it's first last run.

I've decided to bring this project to a close, after today and running only around half throttle, these electronics are far far from their full potential. I've pushed the Slash 4x4 far beyond its limits but the limits of the MGM X-Series has not even been scratched. I'm wanting to quickly shift time and money, on to something that will find its true potential.

It ran with unforgivable power, just incredible, it weighs over a STONE and sits less than 5mm from the ground as the excessive weight pushes down on it, yet it drives so smoothly. It goes across all terrain like a TC would on tarmac, the power and efficiency is something that really has to be felt by the driver rather than described!

It ripped up my brand new Proline V3s on their first run.

And while I was in a small area, with almost no traction, it CUT through the snow, ice and grass, straight into dirt with insane speed and power.

But as I mentioned, it's potential just couldn't be unleashed and while I could just go to a massive field and set it off in a straight line, I just don't have the time or patience to keep prolonging my Slash's life, I want to show you what it can really do, in my next, dedicated project for these electronics.

So with all the in mind, here's the pics and the video you've been waiting for.

Thank-you for your support and watching this project!

Another foam bites the dust.

Nick as usual you amaze me with the extent of fun one can have with a Traxxas Slash.

I got a couple of videos but I don't want to put them up. :( They don't do it justice.

I've found a place tomorrow I can actually do a full speed run (tyres permit!) so lets see. The amount of power is insane, it's too much and actually makes it almost unusable when you get around 50mph.

Still crazy fun and amazing to see go in person, lol.

Ran it. Was silly fast. :O

Sadly it did one run, didn't even get to full throttle before magnet in motor shattered!

However, I did get a video, which will be up soon.
