Yes, it can - you'll need a pistix to run it with a surface transmitter.

I don't think the 2220 will give you more power than the 2028. Neu rates the 2220 at 6400 Watts burst, Castle claims 10hp (7400 Watts) for the 2028. The 2225 or 2230 should be more powerful than the 2028, though.

I have had bursts of over 8000 watts with my 2220 on 11s.
