The outerwears are made of a fine nylon mesh which is pretty tough and hard to rip or cut, they are nothing like thin tights which tear if you look at them wrong. The pantyhose ( why does America give everything a strange name... ) are good for use as a dirt filter is you stretch them over your esc however, they don't restrict air-flow and keep out most dust, stones & grass.
