I like the prolines road rage but they are too wide.
Better going with something like this as Mike suggested:

BTW I took the truck for a test run and there was a little cogging but barely perceptible. Went up to 11,000 RPM which was about 23 MPH and felt crazy fast but I loved how the front was lifting without loosing contact with the ground.

Good looking truck. Is that a schulze controller?

With a setup like yours I think the Schulze is doomed.

Stay away from the roadrage tires on a highspeed setup like this. Pizzacutters was the word back then.
I would go the way Mike suggested, 17mm hex and buggy wheels/tires.

Yo, cheers Mike, good to know we're still here.

Since today I was able to take the truck out for a spin (video to be posted after edit) I was also able to un-glue the front tires after a couple of wheelies...

The wheels I have now are all 14mm hex, could I just get a 17mm hex wheel with the appropriate pin or would that not work for some reasons?
I believe the CVD I have are MIP (old original not spline).
