For a 1/10 truck such as an emaxx they shouldnt be lower than 15C.

The problem with nitro's these days are that they arent brushless... LOL

C rates don't mean anything without the capacity factored in...

If you have an 8000mah 8C pack, that can handle 64amps continuously. If you have a 3200mah 20C pack, that can also handle 64amps continuously. The 8C will obviously give you more than twice the runtime, but it will also weigh more. My point is that C rates aren't all that important. Don't go out and buy a pack just because it says 15C or 20C.

I run an 8C 5400mah (43amps continuous) in my 1/8 buggy, and that holds up fine. Recently I bought an 8C 6600mah battery that I have yet to try.

SH Z-Car, Custom Crawler, 8s Savage, 12s XTM XLB 1/7 buggy, 4wd 4-link rear/IFS Pro4 truck, Custom Hyper 10 Short Course, Belt-Drive Mammoth ST 1/8 truggy, 4s 17.5 MM Pro HPI Blitz
