The 8 spiders of ue are not the best and toughest money can buy.

A proper setup HB diff, with hardened gears, being only '6 spider' is tougher than the aluminum gears of the 8spiders. so skip that 'by far' part.. :p

I would have to agree with that, and the HB's are cheaper too.

Put some Ofna steel gears in the UE.

These gears drop right in to the UE spyders and are steel. They work great and give you a bulletproof diff. If you want a hardened steel version, get these: http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXCWX7&P=7
