The slipper-diff thing Mike is working on should be like the slipperential, except that the slipper clutch is built onto the diff (it's all in-line).

I've even tried developing my own slipper-diff (that's what I've been calling it for 8+ months), but not having a lathe has almost forced me to give up. I have some Solidworks pics of it, though.

The first pic shows the side with the 4 screws that would mount to the diff.
The second pic shows the protuding piece which would be threaded and the spur gear, spring, and nut would go onto it for the slipper clutch.
The four screw holes on the third pic are for mounting the spur gear.
Note that this slipper clutch piece attaches to a center diff. It uses Revo slipper clutch pads.
