It's nice to be able to grab several pinions so you can work with more gearing options. In the past some have spent $100s on pinions alone.

I also have some from Mike... they aren't bad either @ $10, and i have one $25 hardened one.

The cheapies work fine with plasitc spurs.

GD, have you tried that hardened one on a steel spur? If so, how does it hold up?
