The XL motor is really overkill and will cause you more heat problems that are unnecessary. You won't be dissapointed with the basic seires, whatever size you choose. They are quality built efficient motors.

Thanks guys,

Mike will send me the basic XL5000. It's the same size as a regular 540 can. The basic 5300 has a shorter can so the XL5000 will fit my car just fine.

I'll let you know how it goes. I will run it watercooled with a waterjacket around the motor.
