Yeah, that's about the only controller with decent service that works with the Neu motors.

The XL2400; i've got that motor too, it's strong, but not as strong as a Neu 1512, and the Neu uses segmented magnest, which makes it better suited for partial loads (which is about 95 percent of running RC cars)
